Feners is an independent, direct-to-consumer brand born in 2017 in Barcelona, Spain. It is a celebration on women, equality and singularity through iconic, head-turning designs with a soul of its own. Born as just a dream to make quality shoes and garments in top of the world craftspeople, it grew naturally into a start-up that today brings their designs all over the world, mostly in the US & Europe.

Like Carla Morillas, the Creative Director and Adrià Gustà, the CEO always said,
“We started this company because we believe the world deserves better choices than mass market or luxury. There was nothing in between and we wanted to bring to life really good shoes directly to people without all the unnecessary mark-ups, and to do so by leading in sustainable practices.”

Challenging how things are made in the fashion industry and doing things our way are very important parts of this journey. As a young, disruptive brand, we want to raise standards on how to operate better in terms of sustainability, human rights, labor conditions, manufacturing, ethics, and materials.

Although we nowadays ship 98% of our products outside Spain, we’ve been always really bonded with the mediterranean lifestyle and it’s part of our DNA. This is also one of the reasons why we will never stop handcrafting our products here.

HEAD OF BRAND / MARKETING

AS OUR FIRST HEAD OF BRAND / MARKETING, YOU WILL:

You will create and lead the marketing department, which is currently fragmented in so many different things that are happening at the same time. Under this department you will lead social media, email marketing, customer retention and success, visual production, e-commerce (from a marketing perspective) and PR. This role reports to Creative Director and CEO.

You will work most closely with the CEO and Creative Director, and also with the Media Buyer / PPC manager. In this role there is no day like the previous one, as we are a fast moving company and there are so many things to get done.

You will need to be able to identify the best partnerships, propose new ones, work with other brands and artists for collaborations, work with styling showrooms, magazines, photographers, producers, and more.

You will also have the support from the Junior Designer that can produce and execute a lot of the visual work and graphic design.

You will oversee the Customer Guardian department together with the operations team to ensure customer success and retention.

You will not only work in the footwear category, but also in new verticals that are coming Q4 2022 and Q1 2023 such as handbags, small leather goods, knitwear, and more. You will be giving birth to these new categories as they need to be dropped online & social media in a very powerful way.

You will continually manage and evolve the company’s brand proposition and visualize where the brand is going, together with the CD. We are a Direct to Consumer brand that manufactures in 5 to 7 weeks so things move really fast and the brand is taking off at a whole new level. You will be here to make a real impact.

ARE YOU THE ONE?

You have at least 3+ years of experience in the fashion industry and you have a degree / academic background either in marketing, fashion, design, e-commerce, and or business. We are looking for someone to push the brand to the next level. If you are eager to build a department from scratch, this is probably your call.

You have either worked in a fashion company / startup or in the marketing department of a company, creative department, social media, PR, magazine, or similar.

You have a great branding criteria and a taste for aesthetics. You feel like you can amplify the brand’s values and brand story and make the brand grow.

Fully fluent or native in English. Spanish is a nice to have. You are a great communicator and can work in a team and take feedback. You are a problem solver.
You have an entrepreneurial spirit and a collaborative attitude. Shopify skills are a merit.

CUSTOMER GUARDIAN

AS A CUSTOMER GUARDIAN:

The mission of the role is to deliver an outstanding customer experience through existing communication channels and tools.
We are looking for a social, self-driven, brand ambassador customer service executive to join our team. We are based in Barcelona but the role is highly remote / hybrid.

Feners is disrupting whole footwear industry and we are family of like-minded, passionate people that love to work on a high-impact social and ethical start-up. Does this sound like you? Keep reading!

You will work most closely with the Product Manager, Operations team and Head of Brand. You will be in charge of customer success and retention, and the overall online reputation of the brand.

ARE YOU THE ONE?

You have at least 1+ years of experience in a customer care or ecommerce department and you have a degree / academic background either in administration, marketing, fashion, e-commerce, business or similar.

You are fully fluent in english with excellent writing skills. Spanish is a nice-to-have. Experience with customers is a must. Shopify, Gorgias, Zendesk are a merit. You are highly organized and are able to keep track of data through excel sheets and internal reporting.

You are a great communicator and can work in a team and take feedback. You are a problem solver and you have collaborative attitude. This is a position with growth potential within the company.
